This recipe includes:
- approx. 4 lbs of either chicken or beef bones
- 2 onions, chopped
- approx. 10 peppercorns
- 3 carrots
- 2 bay leaves
- 3-4 garlic cloves
- enough water to cover the ingredients
- salt to taste
Put all these ingredients in a slow cooker and set on low for 5-7 hours. The longer it cooks the more nutrients come out. Alternatively, use a pot and put on low heat for at least 5-7 hours. Ideally, this is a weekend project and can sit on the stove or the slow cooker for 24 hours.
